Daughter Leigh, and Brett Milstead have a five-month-old daughter, Cindy's granddaughter Sienna Kate, who couldn't be cuter!

EDUCATION

Cindy graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University, and taught middle school for 20 years.

AGENT EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Cindy is the eldest daughter of Raeford and Katherine Thomas of Hiddenite. Raeford and Katherine owned a Nationwide agency since 1961 and Cindy feels like she has been in insurance her entire life. Cindy worked at her dad's agency during several summers, beginning in 1996, and acquired all of her insurance licenses. In 2018, Cindy merged her agency with Charles Eyler and can now serve her clients even better!

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Taking on her father's community service interest, Cindy has been chair of the Alexander County Social Services Board, Rotary president, YMCA board president, Hospice board secretary, Hiddenite Arts and Heritage Center Board secretary, and Hiddenite United Methodist Church Administrative Board Chair. Currently Cindy services on the Alexander County School Board. Cam, her son, and wife Bonnie are currently in the Air Force Reserve and Florida National Guard, and Cam flies for Southwest Airlines, while Bonnie is an Assistant DA in West Palm Beach, Florida.

HOBBIES

Cindy loves to travel, dabble in paints, and read besides gardening and playing with Sienna Kate!
